Fan breaches barriers to arrive at Britney, leaves her spontaneity

Pop star Britney Spears got more than she bargained for in a concert in Connecticut after a fan crowd on stage in a desperate bid to reach her. Contactmusic.com reports, the 'Toxic' singer's show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut May 2 saw an overzealous admirer trying to approach her during her enclosed.


The man jumped the safety barriers and headed towards Spears as she sang 'Womanizer' at the end of her show. 'This guy ran across the stage and towards Britney during 'Womanizer'. He attempted to dance with Britney! Britney looked extremely spooked,' said an spectator.


The man was supposedly apprehended by security guards after Spears' dancers helped remove him from the stage. It is not known if the man was in detention subsequent the occurrence.




Israeli technology may helpful in detection of swine flu


An Israeli organization has come up with a technology, entitled Bull Connect, to detect swine flu and other animal diseases before they spread. The innovatory technology can distantly screen the health and condition of each pig in a herd.

The Petah Tikva start-up had developed the knowledge to look over herds of cattle, but it has been accorded a renewed implication keeping in mind the recent outburst of swine flu in Mexico since it can also be used to observe pigs.

According to Sharon Soustiel, CartaSense's chief operation representative, the system can detect illness and prompt separation. "With this technology, I can know in real time about any epidemic breakout, and I can monitor it and straight away isolate the area," the Jerusalem Post quoted Sharon as saying.

Sharon explained a sensor was put on every animal's ear that monitored its hotness, heart rate, respiratory rate and location.

Sharon said: "All of this animal information can give us in real time the in sequence to know if the cattle is sick or not. We make a wireless network from all of the cattle." The product is anticipated to hit the market in less than a year.
